Holmes Concrete Sawing & Drilling

Slab Sawing

Flat Sawing is the most common diamond cutting technique used to saw pavement, floors, roofs, bridge decks, dams and culverts whose surfaces are close to a horizontal plane. Whether you need joints sawed or cleaned, conduit or cable runs installed, areas of slab removed or smaller cut outs made, Holmes can do the job for you quickly and expertly.

Also called slab saws, flat saws feature a diamond blade mounted on a walk-behind machine requiring only one operator. They can cut up to 500mm in depth and are typically used to remove concrete sections for demolition purposes, provide expansion joints, remove damaged pavement sections and clean and prepare random cracks for repair.
